Articles and news shows about the excesses of the private education industry seem to abound these days. Some critiques of those (relatively few) institutions that apply undue pressure on applicants to join their school programs are certainly justified. But it is time for the majority legitimate adult education institutions to assert themself and make sure that the general public understands that most of us are honorable companies, colleges, and universities that work every day to apply educational and business best practices to their operations.
